The Royal Botanic Gardens gates ,are just a few minutes walk from the Sydney Opera House,the botanical gardens encompass an area of land between the harbour and the eastern part of the central business district and sit on the side of an undulating piece of land the harbour views from up the hill are superb. There are large trees with a wonderful shade, creating many idylic spots to stop and relax - sitting on the grass, taking in the Sydney harbour views.You can also walk from the Opera House to both Government House and the NSW Art Museum through the botanic gardens
