Each year in the 2nd week of August thousands of people pay one of Sydney's largest Sunday Newspaper the "Sun Herald" a fee to run from the City to Bondi Beach in an event called "City to Surf". This year the fee was $39 and a record 66,000 + entered.One African man was overheard saying "In my country we run for free.." A counter group is beleived to be forming who walk from the "Surf to the City" (for free of course..!)
